"I ordered the hand warmer as I have had hand pain that seems to be relieved with heat/warmth. Today is the first day that I had them and my hand pain started this evening. I put the glove in the microwave and within 20 minutes (and it was still warm!) my hand felt much better! Since there is no thumb or fingers, it is can be used in any direction.
Since I only have the pain in my left hand, I can take one to the office and leave one at home! I'm really happy with my purchase! Thanks so much!"

Note: Length of heating time is dependent on different levels of microwave power and your desired temperature. We suggest starting with 45 seconds for the two mitts and increasing the heating time according to your comfort level. For people with poor circulation we recommend testing them first to make sure they are not too hot. These microwave mitts were designed to be used inside but may be used outside too.
Use as Ice Pack
The flannel covered packet of corn makes a versatile cold pack for use after surgery to help reduce swelling. It is relatively light in weight -- about 1 lb. -- and is 8" x 6." Store in the freezer (preferably in a plastic bag). It can go back and forth from the microwave to the freezer without degrading the materials.
