Need to reduce swelling?
Cold therapy helps reduce swelling and pain after surgery or injury.
Physicians often recommend icing with a bag of frozen peas to help reduce swelling and pain during the first 48 hours after an injury. Holding a bag of frozen peas in place becomes tedious after a few minutes. Put a bag of frozen peas inside this flannel cover and strap it on to keep the bag of frozen peas from slipping off. The cover is designed to hold a one pound bag of frozen peas that can be purchased at a grocery store.
It feels great on nasty nsect bites, and mild sunburns.Item Code: ME-ICE $28.00 Add to Cart
Product Information
Can also be microwaved for heat therapy.
This flannel cover is sold with an inner cloth bag filled with whole corn that
can be microwaved and used for heat therapy. Use heat to relax tight muscles, help improve circulation and flexibility. Why moist heat?
The corn pack may also be frozen and used for gentle cold therapy. Whole corn will not get as cold as a store-bought package of frozen peas because whole corn has less water content.
Our whole corn filling goes from the freezer to the microwave and back to the freezer. A bag of frozen peas should not be microwaved.
Whole corn will not pop in the microwave and does not require added fragrances – unlike rice socks. Microwave heat packs are convenient -- no electric outlets needed and no hot water bottles.
