From Maine to New Hampshire: Our Production Journey
Every business has a journey. Ours took us from Maine's contract production to building our own facility in New Hampshire, and now to a flexible model that spans New England. Here's the honest story of how we grew while staying true to our values.
The Beginning: Maine Contract Production
When we acquired Maine Warmers, the founder had established relationships with skilled contract producers in Maine. These craftspeople knew the products inside and out - they'd been making them for years. We continued these partnerships because quality and continuity mattered more than control.
Why We Brought Production In-House
As we grew, we wanted to be more hands-on with our craft. We're based in New Hampshire, and bringing some production to our own facility allowed us to oversee quality directly, respond quickly to customer needs, experiment with new designs, and build our own team of skilled workers.
The Best of Both Worlds
Today, we maintain the flexibility to produce in Maine, New Hampshire, or other New England locations. This isn't about cutting costs - it's about working with the best craftspeople wherever they are, supporting multiple communities, and maintaining the quality standards that define Maine Warmers.
What This Means for Quality
Whether made in Maine or New Hampshire, every warmer meets the same standards: handcrafted with care, inspected personally, made with quality materials, refillable and sustainable, and backed by our guarantee.
Supporting New England Communities
By maintaining production across the region, we support jobs in Maine, jobs in New Hampshire, skilled craftspeople throughout New England, and the manufacturing tradition that defines our region.
The Future: Staying Regional
We're committed to keeping production in New England. As we grow, we'll continue working with skilled craftspeople across the region, maintaining the quality and values that make Maine Warmers special.

Transparency in Action
We could hide where our products are made or use vague language. Instead, we're proud to say: Maine Warmers, handcrafted across New England by skilled workers who care about their craft.
